A simple breakdown of my experience

The location is fabulous, just minutes from the Rialto Bridge and St Mark's Square, making it perfect for sightseeing. The room was surprisingly spacious and equipped with everything needed for a short stay. The traditional decor adds a charming touch, but be aware of possible maintenance issues during your visit.

However, no one was available at check-in, which caused a lengthy delay that left us feeling uneasy. The air conditioning barely worked, leaving the room uncomfortably warm, adding to our frustrations. We also encountered cleanliness issues, with mold on the walls and dirty blankets in the wardrobe. Communication with the staff was challenging. they seemed unresponsive and unhelpful when we tried to raise our concerns. Overall, it's a mixed bag between aesthetics and significant maintenance issues.

The only good thing was the charming traditional Italian decor. We had issues with bed bugs and dirty linens. Also, the air conditioning barely worked in the heat. 😩

Our stay at Residenza La Campana was nothing short of a nightmare. Upon arrival, there was no staff present to check us in, leaving us to ring the bell repeatedly. It's alarming when you can't feel safe and comfortable in your accommodation, especially in a place as beautiful as Venice. To make matters worse, the air conditioning didn't function during the summer heat, making sleep nearly impossible.
